Rasmus Rex started his commercial music journey in 2019 at just 15 years old, writing and recording songs from his home studio. He co-founded the bandZIMA with his best friend Lucas Lerhøj - a creative playground where the duo explored and honed their musical expression.
Rasmus’ passion for songwriting and composition quickly grew, sparking a drive to collaborate with other artists. Through RIA Kollektivet in his hometown of Roskilde, he began working with talents such as Bifald, KEIDO, and Ida Aysel.
In 2023, Rasmus was selected to join the Danish Songwriting Academy, where he refined his craft under the guidance of esteemed producers like Frederik Thaae, Emil Falk, and Saqib Hassan, among others. He graduated in 2025, ready to make his mark on the music scene.
Despite his young age, Rasmus has already collaborated with prominent artists, including Minds of 99, Mads Langer, Pallas, ROSÈL, Bifald, Bukuru, and Niah Steiner, solidifying his reputation as a promising talent in the industry.
